These are the ones that Swedish House Mafia use! However, most DJs are comfortable with a grade lower, CDJ2000 and DJM900.

XDJs

CDJs are bulky and heavy, and DJs definitely don’t carry them around. They are also priced the highest in the range of DJ gear. The world of DJ gear is ever-evolving and XDJs have emerged as game-changers, seamlessly bridging the gap between traditional vinyl setups and modern digital platforms. XDJs are standalone units that combine the CDJs and mixer as one. Many DJs do not mine using XDJs instead of CDJs for events.

For these DJs they do still have to lug their vinyls to the event, there’s no way a thumb drive can substitute what their music can bring. DJ Controllers

Because XDJs and CDJs are simply too pricey to own, most DJs practise on controllers at home. Unfortunately, just like music for a live band, hotels are not equipped with the right system. Their overhead speakers, often attached to the walls and ceilings are suitable for speeches only. As such, we always encourage you to get your bang for your buck by completing the experience with a proper sound system.
