This is long overdue of course, but that doesnt mean I wont share. Cashew CC had organised a Mothers’ Day dinner at Yunnan View Restaurant. We had Linda Lee as our very effectively bilingual emcee and Los Pintos to keep our mamas happy.
On the 29th of August, the anesthesiologists of SGH had a weekend retreat at Orchid Country Club. over dinner, they had the Los Pintos to entertain them. This was the first time I heard the Los Pintos do Hotel California (with all solos intact). Bravado
The Los Pintos did a speedy gonzales when they rushed over from their cocktail event at Marriot hotel to arrive at Grand Park City Hall, to serenade the guests at Adrian & Wendy’s wedding. I realised how much old folks loved the song Tian Mi Mi, they really clap along and sing!
Los Pintos liven up the atmosphere at poolside, Goodwood Park Hotel, as staff of Pacorini Toll celebrate their company’s 5th birthday. Two things I learnt that night: 1. The Los Pintos can really sing in many languages! 2. Nylon strings sound really good. I miss them! happy birthday Pacorini Toll!
