First day of September marks the celebration of Raffles Marina Country Club’s Anniversary in conjunction with their signature Boatfest event.
This year, Emjay Lee’s Jazz Trio is invited to complete their 1960s-themed dinner with a repertoire filled with 60s classics from both Western and Eastern eras. The outdoor event is held on the club’s lawn against a rare backdrop of coastal shores between Singapore & Malaysia where the full length view of the Tuas bridge can be seen.
Boatfest was blessed by perfect weather while Emjay, joined by her guitarist Munir and bassist Yizhe, croons several heartwarming classics including Blackbird by The Beatles and Teresa Teng’s Moon Represents My Heart.
